I love when you can see the wood grain on wood beads. And these are so gorgeously grained with medium and dark brown stripes. These are the darkest of these I have, though there are lighter shades also available. Lovely. I believe they are pine wood, however, I’m not positive. I am positive that they are smooth and lightweight though. A great bead for many projects.
